The Washington Historical Society received a $2000 grant from the Knox County Fund of the Maine Community Foundation for our new museum. The Grant was used to construct a handicap accessible ramp and install a new exterior door for access to the display rooms.  For 32 years the Maine Community Foundation has supported nonprofits that work to strengthen their community and the Society wishes to thank them for their generous support.
